4th of July Hobieworks

It's no surprise that dogs don't like fireworks. In fact, they don't like the 4th of July. Needless to say Hobie made his daily appearance at the beach today and stayed for the city fireworks show which took place awkwardly close at the adjacent beach.

He did remarkably well. He did jump into my lap and was ready to leave after the first boom, but by the end of it, he acted like a seasoned 4th of July dog. Aint no big thang.
