Hobie Monkey and Toby Bear

Hobie Monkey had a great time playing with his pal Toby Bear while in Montana.

Now we're back in Illinois where we're both adjusting to life in the flattest state ever.

Yesterday Hobart went to the vet where he weighed in at a whopping 57 pounds - quite a jump from his original 7 lbs 5 months ago. That's an 814% weight gain in just 5 months! Fairly impressive.

At the vet I saw a little dog wearing some sort of expedition-weight hooded winter parka and shook my head. That's when it occurred to me: Some dogs have sweaters, my dog has a dot com.^TM
